Dr Magdy Nasralla Abdall FRCS (Edin)
Dr Nasralla Abdalla graduated from Cairo University Medical School in 1989 and completed a Masters degree in Ophthalmology in 2000. Dr Nasralla Abdalla started training in Ireland in 2002 and completed his training in 2008 under the guidance of the Irish College of Ophthalmologists. During this period, he worked with the major teaching hospitals in Ireland including the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, Vincent’s University Hospital, Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin and in University College Dublin Medical School as a lecturer. In 2012, he completed a Fellowship in Medical Retina and Uveitis in Bristol
University Eye Hospital.
Dr Nasralla Abdalla works privately in Clane General Hospital, Beacon Hospital, Vista Eye Clinic, Dublin, Ranelagh Eye Clinic, Dublin, Medical Optics Fairview and Medical Optics Bray. His sub-specialty interests include medical retina, glaucoma and paediatric ophthalmology. Medical Retina is the area of Ophthalmology that deals with the retinal diseases such as Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Diabetic Retinopathy.
